Battle of Plassey (1757) 

This battle marked a turning point in Indian history as it led to the establishment of British rule in India.  The British East India Company, led by Robert Clive, defeated the Nawab of Bengal, Siraj-ud-Daulah, and laid the foundation for British colonial rule in India.

First Battle of Panipat (1526)

Battle of Buxar (1764) 

The Battle of Buxar was a significant event in the early colonial period of India. The British East India Company, led by Major Hector Munro, defeated a coalition of Indian rulers, including Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Oudh, and Mir Qasim, the Nawab of Bengal.  This battle solidified British control over Bengal and laid the foundation for their dominance in India.
