Why Hydration is Important in Summer?

During the summer, the body loses fluids through sweating. If these fluids  are not replaced, the body can become dehydrated. Dehydration can lead to a range of health problems, including dizziness, fatigue, headaches, and even heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

How Much Water Should You Drink?

Adults should aim to drink at least Eight (8) glasses of water per day.

Tips for Staying Hydrated

The following are the best tips for staying hydrated.

Drink plenty of water

Keep a water bottle with you at all times and make sure to sip on it regularly.

If the colour of urine is pale yellow or clear, you are likely hydrated. If it’s dark yellow or amber, you may need to drink more water.
