Period or menstrual pain during menstruation, certainly makes a female’s life a little uncomfortable. Everyone with a uterus knows that it is a monthly process, which comes with problems of mood swings, bloating headaches, and little or more period cramps. Basically, menstrual cramps are caused by natural hormones like substances that trigger contraction and inflammation inside the uterus.

So many hormonal changes are happening in the body so it needs proper supplements to overcome its effect. Your diet plays a key role. So here are some menstruation-friendly drinks which can increase energy levels, decrease bloating, and most importantly relieve period cramps.

1 . Warm water

Proper hydration means being more equipped to manage any physiological discomfort including period cramps also. So hydration is always necessary in order to have a healthy body. Water helps in digestion and keeps you away from bloating. Water also helps in proper blood circulation which is necessary for the circulation of nutrient-rich blood and the removal of waste products from the body.

It is the need of the hour as your body is losing nutrients and doing some extra work. Citrus fruits are especially rich in Vitamin C, which helps in the absorption of iron. This makes citrus fruits fit for consumption during the period time when the body loses iron through cervical bleeding.
