So have you ever thought what could be the difference between health and wellness?

At a glance both appear to be similar but fundamentally both these terms are very different.

Health is an illustration of one’s state. It describes the state of a particular person. Health is the combination of physical, mental and social well being. A healthy person is said to be someone who is free from any injury or pain.

On the other hand, wellness in a way is the mindset to choose to grow and nourish. Wellness is putting in efforts to be the best version of yourself.

Health and wellness go hand in hand.

We need wellness to optimise our health.

And if you’ve got Health wellness will help you grow it further.

Irrespective of our age, who we are or what  our health status is, we can all benefit from wellness. All we have to do is improve and filter our thought process. That is what determines our wellness.

Wellness is the ability to shift from negative mentality towards optimism.

300 million cells are being replaced in your body every single minute. Therefore we need to fuel up this process by making Healthy choices.

So to put all of this together, health and wellness are not independent. Health in an integral part of wellness. Wellness could be part of your environmental factors considering the things that are around you.
